This happens also when NM drops the connection, which can happen at any time 
from a few hours to as many as 21 hours.  If you are able to work without it 
for a time, it can be re-connected.  There are various bug reports about this 
sort of thing, and I've attached logs to 
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=472248, as I'm sure this is one 
single problem affecting a few scenarios.
