Has anyone noticed that running "Add/Remove Software" program, after you have selected items therein, completed the installation, or if you decided cancel out the selections and terminate the A/R Software program, there appears in the Task Notification, a package icon, and in it, says "Waiting for other task"? There was nothing that I could find in `ps' (processID) nor was there any way to terminate the package icon since no menu item is available to do so? The only way that I could stop this was to reboot the system. Does anyone have this problem or is there a way to terminate this package icon in the task notification area without rebooting? Thanks!
