usage of OpenOffice.org extensions: eats my CPU

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I'm running F10 with openoffice.org-3.0.0 in a german environment and installed some extensions (most from OxygenOpenOffice). Using some extensions, for example

modern-templates.oxt
OOOP-accessories-2.6.0.2.oxt
OOOP-accessories-nonfree-2.6.0.2.oxt
OOOP-templates-separated-de-2.6.0.2.oxt
OOOP-templates-unified-de-2.4.0.4.oxt
pdfimport.oxt

is a very CPU time consuming process (about 5-10 secs). Did somebody make similar experiences, and if yes, how to get rid from such a behaviour?

Can it be that the extensions are badly implemented? Or a JAVA problem?

All comments are welcome.

Regards
