Just stop it running using chkconfig. > s-c-n is good for static connections. But that was the start of my problem. I wanted a static connection and used s-c-n. Now NM is hosed and I don't know how to fix it. Like I said, it looks like NM can configure the device for static connection now. So what does s-c-n gain me? If I'm never going to use it, I'd just as soon not see it in the menu.
