Starting Jan. 8th there are no security updates anymore, so if the
system is exposed in any way you should upgrade before that.

The tool is already installed: yum. :)

Indeed, ATrpms makes quite often a hard switch off of EOL'd
releases. The bits are still there, especially since the src.rpms are
shared, but if someone really needs to stay on an EOL release he
should probably better make copies of the binary packages.
