Which rules should I try out? ---- normally, to detect a routing problem, you would run traceroute command (on windows it's tracert) but of course it will only go so far before it starts showing breaks which would seem to be your Linux firewall/router. So it would be most useful to give us the output of the commands as asked for by Chris Johnson.
