OpenOffice & Fedora 9 KDE 4.1.2

Hi all,

I just recently installed OpenOffice and non of the apps work. They open for a split second and then they close. Is this a Java issue, Nvidia driver issue, or is it a Fedora 9 bug? I checked around on the net but could not find an answer.

I am running Fedora  9  KDE 4.1.2 on an HP Pavilion dv9208nr laptop:
