I included "xdriver=vesa" plus several other parameters in various combinations, all to no avail. F9 installs (I can hear it play some music/sounds) but I don't have any video. As I said, I'm running F8 with the vesa driver and it works fine. I have no idea why F9 is such a pain to install.
