my yum update now show all done

I was told one must do these occasionally :

yum clean all
yum clean metadata
yum clean dbcache
yum update

or get nothing when there IS something to get!

What is happening is , the "yum" package isn't in the updates repo. and "yum-utils" needs it to satisfy dependencies. I use Yumex and all I did was uncheck the "yum-utils" to finish updates, in a couple of days someone will put the
"yum" package in the update repo.

Check this site below it will show you how to fix your problem.
