I thought sure I had rebooted after the update. Apparently, I'm an
idiot. After restart, I'm running the -108 kernel and the
vmware-config script is happy with the exception of vmblock, which I
can live without.

Thanks for all the helpful responses from everybody! I'm copying my
VMs over from my old system and don't expect to have any trouble
running them.
