Hi

I have VMworkstation working OK
 VMwareWorkstation-6.0.4-93057.x86_64

Linux tarifa 2.6.25.14-108.fc9.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Aug 4 13:46:35 EDT 2008
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

but I don't believe WS it is a true 64bit app and hence needs
various .i386 libs.

At the time I used vmware-any-any-117-very-ALPHA.tgz
but I know that there are later ones now

I had to yum install
libX11.i386
libXtst.i386
libXrender.i386
zlib.i368 !!!!!!!!!!! to get libz !!!!!

I have subsequently taken a Window V/M Client from Workstation and run
it successfully under VMware Server 1.0.6
which did pleasantly surprise me !!!!

John
