Craig, Thanks. Is it: grub-install /dev/sda or grub-install /dev/sda1 When upgrading to fc9 I specified that boot be updated, but not reinstalled. The funny thing is that I have rebooted, succesfully, multiple times since install fc9. Grub appeared to be working, until I did a much smaller upgrade of seven packages today?
