Killing the kerneloops program didn't cause a reduction in CPU activity; massive system activity was replaced by massive user activity, but I couldn't find out which process was responsible. Removing kerneloops -- "rpm --erase kerneloops" -- brought instant relief. What's going on? Any advice for investigation?
