When the installation is done in text mode like this, the installed system will also boot into text mode (mode 3). After the installation is done it's time to run the commands that others have mentioned to install the updates and the graphics driver. When the graphics works you can change a setting so that the system will boot into graphical mode (mode 5) instead. Björn Persson
