First it was not finding the fonts. Fixed that. Now I get an error
message saying the access was denied.

What OS/Distro were you running?? It seems the Ubuntu crowd has no
problems. The diehard rpm fans are having a problem with it. With my
luck, the darn thing will work right after I hit sent on this! That's
why I was wondering about the settings in /etc/profile ,if that had/has
anything to do with it. If anyone has Ubuntu installed, what does
your /etc/profile file have these items set to?? :) Ric
