Wireless USB

Hello all. I have a wireless USB adapter based on the Intersil Prism 3 chip set, but it isn't being recognized by Fedora 9. Is there anything that I need to do to get it working? I went to the website for hostap and it said that it was included in the kernel since 2.6.14 so in theory this should be working. Thanks for any help you can give me.
