But I don't know why you have a problem with the nvidia driver. Have you
applied all the updates to X? On a system where I had this nv driver
problem, the nvidia driver from the livna repo worked fine for me on a
fully updated system.
I'm updated as of today with all the Xorg stuff. The bug
referenced above is close but not quite the same. It's probably what's
causing the problem, though.
I have no idea why the livna nvidia driver is being uncooperative.
