The above problem went away after removing pulseaudio.

This problem went away after removing pulseaudio

Problem went away after removing virtualizations

Above problem went away after removing bridge-utils

Problem remains - cannot find out why loopback network configuration
script was ignored as implied above.

Above is a mystery.

Above: Not sure where to start... still a problem.

Thats all for now - so I have some issues to resolve..., *sigh*
If anyone can suggest how to fix these, please let me know!
