Debian will support KDE 3.5 until maybe 2011 or 2012. I'm expecting KDE 4.2 or KDE 4.3 to be suitable for prime time. They should arrive in Fedora in May 2009 and November 2009. That leaves Fedora without support for a prime time KDE for several months. There's no such gap with Debian or Kubuntu.
