Dear All,

Any ideas about the following error?

# /sbin/modprobe coretemp
FATAL: Error inserting coretemp
(/lib/modules/2.6.25.3-18.fc9.i686/kernel/drivers/hwmon/coretemp.ko):
No such device
# dir /lib/modules/2.6.25.3-18.fc9.i686/kernel/drivers/hwmon/coretemp.ko
/lib/modules/2.6.25.3-18.fc9.i686/kernel/drivers/hwmon/coretemp.ko

Thanks in advance,

Paul

That is a good indication that it could not find the hardware the module was looking for. You can try "/sbin/modprobe -v coretemp" to get a (hopefully) more detailed description of what is going on.
