----
it won't

# host alfred.gayleard.com
Host alfred.gayleard.com not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

# host helen.gayleard.com
Host helen.gayleard.com not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

# host gayleard.com
gayleard.com has address 86.43.71.228
gayleard.com mail is handled by 10 mail.gayleard.com.

no known host names for alfred.gayleard.com or helen.gayleard.com but
there is a gayleard.com and a mail.gayleard.com - those are usable...
