Thanks, Rick, good to know. Is this fdisk info new for F9? I probably haven't run fsisk for quite a while so I could have missed it in earlier releases.

Now I'm curious. If I run
# lvm pvs
  PV         VG         Fmt  Attr PSize   PFree 
  /dev/sdb2  VolGroup00 lvm2 a-   232.78G 32.00M

or other lvm commands I don't see any mention of /dev/dm-X.
So who uses or needs to know about /dev/dm-X?
