Hello,

Is there a possibility to update gphoto2 to version 2.4.1 in fedora?

Canon camera's obviously do not work with version 2.4.0 - at least my canon EOS 350D does not work and there are a few bug reports concerning problems with version 2.4.0 and Canon cameras. A few weeks ago 2.4.1 was released and I suppose, that this version will work with canon cameras again, as I have successfully used an SVN trunk version of gphoto2 short before 2.4.1 was released.

The Canon EOS 350D is a very often sold camera. You can make happy a lot of users with an update.

There's already a feature request in the bugzilla:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=443515

Thanks and greets

Boris
