Ctrl-Alt-Backspace and log in again. Something in kde has crashed and that
should cure it. I'm not sure whether it will pick up the usb stick if you
leave it in place. I'd remove it and try again after the login.

Nope !! That didn't work.
Boy have they got A-Lot-of-Bugs in FC9.
Well one thing is good, I installed Fedora9 on a EEEpc with no problems
or hitches.
