F9 killed ndiswrapper

I have been using ndiswrapper wih each version of Fedora without issue. After the most recent updates, I can no longer activate the wireless device on two different computers (Dell Vostro 1000 with built in device and a Dell Inspirion with a Linksys WRT54GS). In both cases, if I try to activate them with either network manager or WiFi Radar I either get an error saying "Determining IP information for wlan0... failed; no link present. Check cable?" or nothing with WiFi radar.

In both cases the cards will scan and find the wireless network. For example:

iwlist wlan0 scan
wlan0 Scan completed :

If I run "ndiswrapper -l", I get this:
bcmwl5 : driver installed

At this point, it gets weird.
