Not sure what you mean by 1) since PackageKit does display groups and allow you to search etc.

I think he means that while you can search for packages, you can't browse by selecting a group and seeing a complete list.
yumex will do that, and I thought pirut did, too.


Basically I would like to see again the list of groups (and packages contained) the same way as it happens during installation.
Of Fedora 7, pirut does exactly that.
Is PackageKit ready to replace pirut?
