No longer in the default install maybe, but not dead yet:

~$ yum search iostat
sysstat.i386 : The sar and iostat system monitoring commands
fmtools.i386 : Simple Video for Linux radio card programs
dstat.noarch : Versatile resource statistics tool
dstat.noarch : Versatile resource statistics tool

sysstat seems to include iostat. dstat claims to be a superior
replacement for iostat. Not sure why fmtools shows up here.
