We don't know, you haven't provided a non-working example for anyone
else to try.

Not all Real Media files will work for us.  I haven't come across any
rmvb files, is that a typing error?

What do you mean by replace?  Replace what with what?

Also, if you look at the mplayer website, it does say that the Windows
codecs are meant for a mplayer installation on Windows.  The codec
package for Linux is different.  That may be important to you.
