I am happy but not surprised to see that everyone takes such pride in their work, this just reinforces my decision to use Fedora. The reason that the other KDE desktops I have seen appealed to me so much was just that reason you stated above. They are different. GNOME is or was(i haven't fired up another distro in quite a while) much the same look and feel in Fedora as it was in SUSE. GNOME felt generic, i was naturally inclined to dislike it for that very reason. The KDE I found on Fedora looked more like GNOME than any other I have ever used. It is purely a matter of opinion, so why take offense? OK, now I will concede the point without further comment.
