I use k3b.  You can verify the burn to make sure it matches the ISO.  If
this is downloaded is there an md5sum file or some other checksum to make
sure it was not mangled in transit?  (Windows ftp servers are notorious
for defaulting to ascii for ftp transfers, which will mangle an iso
image.)
