I prefer to choose the "Update" method of the installer (anaconda). No wipe needed.
Could a little script copy current install setup, ie rpms etc.. to a flash stick. So when re-install occurs the option is given to: "Customise later, Customise Now, Insert Config USB stick" Then it would save some time, and give a fairly accurate upgraded clone. Frank
