[F8] procmailrc bug?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I noticed that my mail stopped working, and checked out
the /var/log/maillog and it reported that procmail was unable
to write to the user's mail directory.  The specific error was:

Error while writing to: "/$HOME/Mail/procmaillog"

I changed the procmailrc file so that the line:

MAILDIR=$HOME/Mail --> MAILDIR=$HOME/mail
LOGFILE=$HOME/Mail/procmaillog --> LOGFILE=$HOME/mail/procmail.log

Seems that instead of "Mail", it should be: "mail"

And everything started working again and no errors to the maillog file.

No virus found in this outgoing message.
Checked by AVG.
