Your results from top all show 0% cpu usage.

Top is a  continuously-reporting command that will give you an ongoing snapshot
of what processes are running on your computer and how much CPU power they are
using.  In its default configuration (when you just run top with no extra
parameters) the process at the top of the list will be the one that's using the
most CPU power at that moment.

Load top and sit and watch it at the exact moment that your computer is running
slow.  See what processes tend to be at the top of the list.  They may come and
go and change a bit, but you should see a pattern or a tendency for certain
processes to be at the top of the list.

Whatever is at or near the top of the list and using the largest percentage of
CPU power is your culprit.
