I wouldn't force any install -- solve the problem, don't break your system.

Post your exact error message.  Are you using rpm -i or yum?

Are you trying to install it from Livna or somewhere else?


# rpm -ivh ffmpeg-0.4.9-0.10.20080214.fc8.i386.rpm
warning: ffmpeg-0.4.9-0.10.20080214.fc8.i386.rpm: Header V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID e42d547b
error: Failed dependencies:

Same thing happens when I use the installer.
