This assumes you are booted into the kernel for which you are trying to rebuild the kmod-nvidia RPM. rpmbuild --rebuild /tmp/nvidia-kmod-169.12-2.lvn8.src.rpm --define "kernels $(uname -r)" --target=i686 Cheers. This did work just now for the koji kernel kernel-2.6.24.3-22.fc8. If you are careful, you can replace the $(uname -r) with the desired kernel number. As in 2.6.24.3-22.fc8.
