No, I'm not touching anything else as I'm plain afraid to do so. Got

The OP is not seeing the AMD64 stuff turned on in the kernel SRPM on his
32bit install.
If he wants a 64bit install, he should reinstall with the 64bit media, but
most likely, the extra AMD-ness, and 32 extra bits aren't going to be all
that noticable to him.
