All,

My system is a Opteron Dual Core 180 Socket 939 + Jetway MOBO + 1GB Memory + ATI Radeon X1650. Windows XP Pro runs great overclocked but I need to set the clock speed default to actually get Fedora Core 8 x86-64 to install and then hangs once booted... Anyone seen these problems or is this a already discussed issue ??? Can Fedora Core 8 be overclocked ???? I really it's suppose to run at 2.4GHz and I have it running at 2.7GHz but at even 2.4GHz it boots but will hang. And as I said XP runs great at 2.7GHz.

Thanks in advance

Dale G
