The default configuration for the GDM login manager should not show any users with a uid less than 500. Does the hsqldb user on your system have a uid other than 96 / greater than 500? -- Todd OpenPGP -> KeyID: 0xBEAF0CE3 | URL: www.pobox.com/~tmz/pgp ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A facility for quotation covers the absence of original thought. -- Peter Wimsey
