What, exactly, is "some problem"?  Error messages, the contents
of /var/log/Xorg.0.log, and a detailed description of  the problem will be
useful here.

How, exactly, did you "install xgl and ati drivers"?  What is the content of
your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file?
