So you need to find out why that backend failed.  There will hopefully
be some useful information in /var/log/cups/error_log.  If not, run
'cupsctl --debug-logging' to turn on extra debugging, then try the print
job again (clear print queue, enable print queue, submit job), and take
another look in /var/log/cups/error_log.  To turn off the extra
debugging, run 'cupsctl --no-debug-logging'.
