resizing rhythmbox columns utterly broken

Is it just me that tries to resize rhythmbox columns, or is it just for
me that resize is utterly broken?

Please see the include screenshots.

In rh_resize_click.png I start to click the vertical divider between
"Artist" and "Album". I then move the cursor left, and got to
rh_resize_move_left.png, with the mouse cursor in between "Artist" and
the vertical divider to "Album".

If I then click on the vertical divider for "Title" and "Artist" and
move right, then both "Artist" and "Album" columns get shortened.

This behaviour is driving me crazy. Is there anything I'm doing wrong?
Also, I've noticed this behaviour with all gtk apps, not just rhythmbox.
