But then how do I make new install media? regardless of where you're getting the reconstruction files from, jigdo[-lite] will create a new DVD .iso image in your working directory on the hard drive. once that's done, then you'll have to use your favourite DVD burning tool to make a physical DVD. so you're certainly free to use a DVD in the drive as the source for reconstruction files. rday -- ======================================================================== Robert P.
