How do I kill a child.

sounds bad...don't ask it that way.
ps aux|grep cups
Is there something running?
Haven't we been down this path before?

Yes Craig we have visited a cups problem a month or so ago,
Cups worked well until a large update down loaded then printing
stopped.
[david@reddwarf ~]$ sudo ps aux|grep cups

cups
[david@reddwarf ~]$
I looked through 'ps aux' and didn't find anything (not that means
anything)
of a cups child.
