The Hauppauge WinTV HVR950 works reasonably well. I say 'reasonably'
because I had some difficulties with the driver ( em??? something). But
that was almost a year ago on Fedora 6 (I think) and the driver has
undergone some upgrading since then.
Reception was not bad, just using the 6 inch whip antenna which came
with it. Not bad for not much over $100 Cdn with tax.
There is likely more info about this subject on the Mythtv wiki. Start
at mythtv.org.
