-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Bonsoir, I have just finished a f8 x86_64 install for a server and I tried to configure a printer to be shared on my private lan: 1- I am unable to use http://localhost:631 for if I try to modify anything cupsd dies!!! The "browse interface" write some strange characters in cupsd.conf (some "¤←") at DefaultAuthType and cups won't start anymore. 2- On clients, lpq command shows the default printer but If I send some printing, nothing happens. On clients, log files report that job has been sent but I cannot see them in log files on the server. This used to work without efforts to configure this service under fc6. what shall I do? thanks for helping - -- François Patte UFR de mathématiques et informatique Université Paris Descartes 45, rue des Saints Pères F-75270 Paris Cedex 06 Tél. +33 (0)1 44 55 35 61 http://www.math-info.univ-paris5.fr/~patte -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFHr33MdE6C2dhV2JURApjyAKDClTGrp7SATIzcxOzf0prNmFvBZwCfV4r/ phweE612mqLJ38bif/Snb+c= =ThvX -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
