Download it and install it somewhere (I use /usr/local). For JRE 1.4.2, the actual plugin is: /usr/local/j2re1.4.2/plugin/amd64/mozilla/libjavaplugin_oji.so So create a symlink from there to your /usr/lib64/firefox-(version)/plugins directory. An ls -l of your plugins directory should look sorta like: # ls -l /usr/lib64/firefox-2.0.0.10/plugins (extra stuff deleted) libjavaplugin_oji.so -> /usr/local/j2re1.4.2/plugin/amd64/mozilla/libjavaplugin_oji.so (note that that's from an F7 install and using JRE 1.4.2) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Rick Stevens, Principal Engineer rstevens@xxxxxxxxxxxx - - CDN Systems, Internap, Inc. http://www.internap.com - - - - Overweight: When you step on your dog's tail...and it dies. - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
