get the required codecs (see other post in thread) and stream it like me :-)

mplayer -cache 128 -bandwidth 4000000 -mc 10 -playlist \ 
http://play.rbn.com/?url=demnow/demnow/demand/2008/jan/video/dnB20080117a.rm\&proto=rtsp
where,
cache:     prevents stuttering 
bandwidth: fills cache quicker
mc:        syncs audio  
playlist:  because the file actually contains the url of the video
