Damn, not good news. I have this drive that I've been lugging around for ages that contains an original MUD on it, from my old BBS days, and a collection of Samantha Fox pics. I can replace the pics, but the MUD was a one of a kind original. I'd like to have it back ...in one piece. The drive was formatted with ext2. Back in the day, a Samantha Fox collection and dos games were the BBS files of choice. I'll try freezing it. If that doesn't work, I'll try the sharp-twist suggestion. If that doesn't work I have this nice carpenter's hammer to gently whap it with.
