I don't think UID spoofing would be an issue if your server was the only
thing that talked directly to the storage.  They have to be the right
user to talk to the mail server (username and password).


I'm thinking more about this, I have the UID and GID setup on LDAP so all systems are consistent with each other. So this won't be a problem in my setup. I should be able to use an NFS mount.

So I think I'm back to my original question which unfortunately no one seems to have an answer for.
