grep -r 'new-host-2' /etc/sysconfig

most likely, if it's not in /etc/sysconfig/network it's going to be set
in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 (or ifcfg-eth1...)

It's possible that the hostname will come from DHCP server but that is
not usual.
